Refund Policy

Deposits

  • All deposits, including the standard 20% materials deposit, are non-refundable once materials are purchased or preparation work has begun.

  • If a project is canceled before materials are purchased, a deposit refund may be considered at the sole discretion of Sowards & Son Home and Yard LLC.


Completed Services

  • Payments for services that have already been completed are non-refundable.

  • If you are dissatisfied with the quality of work, you must notify us within 7 calendar days of service completion. We will make every reasonable effort to correct the issue before considering any partial refund.


Cancellations

  • Customers who cancel scheduled work with at least 24 hours’ notice will not be charged additional cancellation fees, though deposits remain non-refundable.

  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in a cancellation fee of up to 25% of the total project cost.


Weather & Delays

  • Outdoor services affected by weather (such as snow removal, pressure washing, or lawn care) will be rescheduled at no additional cost. Refunds are not issued for weather-related delays.


Special Circumstances

Refunds may be issued only if Sowards & Son Home and Yard LLC fails to provide the agreed-upon services and is unable to correct the issue within a reasonable timeframe. Refund requests will be reviewed individually.
